Myofolate™
Myofolate™ is the first of its kind health supplement designed to address dietary folic acid deficiency and provide support for female reproductive system health.
Developed with a unique combination of ingredients, Myofolate™ has garnered acclaim and recommendations from healthcare professionals and fertility specialists across South Africa.
One of the components of Myofolate™ is folate, specifically in the form of L-methyltetrahydrofolate. This nutrient plays an important role in reducing the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily before conception and during early pregnancy. Additionally, folate supports protein metabolism and aids in the formation of red blood cells, contributing to the overall maintenance of good health.
By incorporating Myofolate™ into your daily routine, you can take proactive measures to support your reproductive system health. Empower yourself and embark on a journey towards a healthier, better you. Myofolate™ is here to support you every step of the way.
Learn more:
Myo-Inositol and folate are compounds belonging to the B-vitamin family, known for their impact on general health and well-being (1). When combined, studies have shown that these ingredients may improve pregnancy outcomes, particularly enhancing egg quality in individuals undergoing IVF treatment (2).
Research indicates that 99% of follicular fluid in healthy patients comprises Myo-Inositol (3). By supplementing with Myofolate™, which provides dosages of both Myo-Inositol and folate, individuals can support their body’s natural processes and potentially experience improved fertility (4).
As endorsed by the Southern African Society of Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopy (SASREG), incorporating a multivitamin containing folate into one’s routine can be particularly advantageous when attempting to conceive (5).
Furthermore, Myofolate™ leverages L-methyltetrahydrofolate, the active form of folate that can cross the blood-brain barrier (6). This may enable the synthesis of neurotransmitters associated with mood regulation, such as serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, thereby supporting emotional well-being (7).
